Problem with endless search and game start

Hi everyone, and thanks for your work. I’d like to figure out a glitch in the Lichess app and determine whether the issue lies with my device. It used to happen occasionally in the old app, but now it occurs almost every time. When I start searching for an opponent, the search runs, but nothing else happens. However, I know that the game has actually started and an opponent has been found. If I exit the new app and open the old one, then tap the board icon in the top-right corner, I can see that the game has indeed begun and my opponent is waiting for me to make a move. This problem didn't exist in earlier versions of the new app. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks.

It hás been happening with me.
I am blocked now because of 4 or 5 games that had already started without souding alarm , ... I would like to know what I should do to avoid this :(

Yes, I’m worried about getting banned too. That rarely happened in the old app; you could always just tap the board icon in the corner and rejoin the game. In the new app, there’s nothing you can do. By the way, if you wait long enough, the game might actually start—but it’ll be a second game, since the first one was either cut short by your opponent or automatically cancelled due to a timeout.
