Question about tournament links in team forums

Piratesboy

Hello everyone,

I would like to clarify something about the forum rules regarding advertising.

Is it allowed to post a link to a tournament in the forum of your own team, especially if the tournament is related to team events such as the Lichess Mega Team Battle?

I understand that the forum rules prohibit purely promotional posts, including asking people to join teams or tournaments. However, I have seen tournament announcements posted in team forums, such as announcements for the Mega Team Battle.

Does this kind of post count as prohibited advertising, or is it acceptable to share tournament information in your own team's forum?

Thank you for clarifying this!

You can post the link in your team forum, send it via a team message, or send it to team members via direct message (DM).
Every team member can write it in his bio.
