Ok, so as if the new post-game win/lost annotations didn't receive enough backlash yet, here's a particularly silly case:

play some interesting game that you will enter into a study later
start the study, create the chapter
enter the pgn tags first, in particular the "Result" tag
be greeted with an annoying red "X" above the losing side's king while you enter the remaining moves

Am I really the only one who inputs the pgn tags before the moves? Maybe I have some hundred moves to type, but I already want to show the result to others whom I share the study with?

I ran into that too. Kinda strange seeing the end of game symbols appear for every move, even though technically every move you make is the last move in the game thus far

Yeah, it's a bit funny. On the other hand, it's exactly what one would expect. Too bad PGNs don't have a result annotation rather than a tag. I believe this is a huge limitation of the format.
