When I challenge a friend who appears online on Lichess, they sometimes don’t respond, probably because they are temporarily away from their screen.
When they return, they may never know that I challenged them.
Would it be possible to keep a notification of missed challenges from friends, even after the challenge has expired?
For example: “Your friend [username] challenged you 10 minutes ago while you were away.”
This would allow players to see that a friend wanted to play with them, even if they missed the invitation.
I think this small improvement would make spontaneous games between friends much easier to organize.
