I have just been asked to enable two-factor authentication. I have been using it for several years on this account, as well as on an alternate account. I also used two-factor authentication to sign-in now, and it works well. Given that, I do not understand the purpose of the message.

If you are a part of a Lichess team and have been recently promoted to leader, it oftentimes asks you to enable two-factor-authentication even if you already have it enabled as a way to protect the team that you have control over if your account gets compromised. I'm not sure what the reason is if that isn't the case.

I am a member of 13 teams here, but I am not a leader of any of them, or at least I am unaware of it.
