Some of the piece sets are bugged when using lichess on the quetta mobile browser. For example all the pieces appear white when using the default piece set.
The pieces looked fine until a few days ago. This is the only browser I noticed the bug on.

Maybe try changing the piece set and then switching back to the default one? Not sure if it'll work but it might help ;p
You can also try clearing your browser history/cache or using incognito mode.
Maybe that browser doesn't support all of the lichess assets. So maybe report this bug in lichess discord server and they will take care of it.
