I don't believe the feature of game-end animations is worth adding to the plane. I am concerned that lichess is going to continue to add UI clutter to the site and the plane may begin to wobble. I know this individual feature may seem a little thing, but I believe it represents a plunge into features that resemble those of the money-grabbing business chess.com.

The feature, at the very least, needs an option to be disabled. Can someone on the lichess team please explain why the feature has been added, and if an off switch can be added?
