Man there are " services" that provide false number identification ,essentially just aiding scammers,i guess it's a growth industry.

@Dukedog, this thread has largely been derailed by some minors, but i see your heart in helping out your fellow citizens. Elderly people are twice as likely to get scammed, if not more, than younger people. Americans in general are just more likely to be targeted by scam gangs than most other countries. Americans are scammed out of more than 15B each year. It's a real problem people.
Btw, if you get a scam call and they ask "Can you hear me" Don't say yes - they can use that as evidence that you agreed to it. Also, Report Calls to 7726 and try not to answer unknown numbers.
My mom has 1500 scam calls per-day
