Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York

On September 24, 2026, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in New York and delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Opening his speech as some delegates walked out of the hall while others greeted him with applause, Netanyahu addressed those who had left, calling them "moral cowards" and saying: "If there are any other moral cowards who haven’t yet left this hall, please do so now."

He stated that striking Iran’s nuclear facilities was "one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever had to make" because "if we hadn’t done it, we’d all be dead," adding that "in defending itself, Israel is also defending many of the countries whose delegates just left this hall."

Recalling October 7, Netanyahu called the Hamas attack "the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust".

Rejecting genocide accusations, he declared that "accusing Israel of genocide is the greatest lie of the century" and that "Israel didn’t commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide."

He summed up the entire war with a simple formula: "We will continue to win because we have no other choice."
Holding up a Starlink device, Netanyahu said the Iranian regime fears the truth most of all and left the communicator so that "when they inevitably defect, they too will be able to tell their story freely."

In closing, Netanyahu urged Jews around the world: "Raise your head high. Be proud. Be confident. Don’t be intimidated," declaring that "the days when Jews were defenseless victims... are over."

The colors, that's what disturbs you in this graph?
If this is what you had to say, maybe restraining would have been better.

when your answer to "over 1500 israelis and 72 000 palestinians died" is "yes but you could have said that in better colours", it can only mean you just outed yourself as a really crap human being.

Respectfully of course.

@Lichess : You have a choice here. 4 options actually.
Moderate both Salmon and my comment, neither, or only one. only one of those won't out you as crap human beings runing a crap institution.

whatever lol I've been aware of this conflict, its implications - and acted on it for longer than you've probably been alive, and much longer than its been in vogue (everyone's an expert now and cares soooo much) - making a show of my virtue online isn't going to change it, it's more fake than anything (like your behavior)
