I thought that laws were designed to help the citizens; they are actually designed to increase the amount of and productivity of the government's slaves: Same-sex relationships are illegal in some places because such couples cannot produce children; education is legally mandatory in order to brainwash people into becoming mindless slaves; slaves who are not on the track to becoming war-fodder are force-fed medicine in mental hospitals in order to fix them; suicide is illegal because it decreases the government's amount of slaves.
