Funny movie- 20026
Jk jk
Question—is the total lack of humor here supposed to be an ironic form of comedy, or is the kidding supposed to have been in the suggestion of fake movie? Or are you just shitposting?
If it’s the first option, it really didn’t land. If it’s option 2, tell your alien/ai overlords that you really aren’t cut out for this whole “passing as a human” thing. If it’s the third, then please desist.

Just about anything featuring actor Peter Sellers. The Pink Panther series was hilarious. Doctor Strangelove also.
My favorite was "The Party", about a bungling actor from India who accidently gets invited to Hollywood movie and wreaks havoc. The movie has been criticized for stereotyping people from India, and Sellers does darken his skin for the movie, but of course it wasn't the people from India that were complaining.
I found this on Youutube. It appears to be the complete movie, running for over 1 1/2 hours. Am watching it now.

Peter Sellers best role was Sidney Wang.

I don't want to surprise anybody, but let me suggest Groundhog Day.
Just know that it's not just a comedy.

"Spies Like Us" (1985) starring Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd deserves a mention, even though it wasn't as successful as Groundhog Day.
And let's not forget a classic: "Some Like It Hot". Marilyn Monroe is simply enchanting.
A film that sheds light on the blurred line between humor and seriousness is "Stalag 17" with the great William Holden. (The TV series "Hogan's Heroes” borrowed some ideas, but it was more of a comedy).
What I almost forgot: Billy Wilder directed the last two films and co-wrote the screenplays for them. It's unbelievable what a little boy from Austria-Hungary would become in the U.S.
