You are in the last round of a tournament and a win would score the 3rd and last GM norm, and thus make you a GM, a draw or a loss not.
How much money would you be willing to pay to win?
Bear in mind that a GM title brings financial benefits: appearance fees, complimentary accommodation, selling more books / videos, a higher coaching fee...

Nothing. The moral and conscience toll will always be more costly that the monetary income I could ever get.
I would rather be an IM with 2 GM norms my entire life than cheat the title. But thats me. Pretty sure many would prefer the title regardless. I have to earn it.
