I don't know how to deal with this behavior

In school, someone threw garbage into my desk drawer. If it were just small pieces of paper, it wouldn't be a big deal, but there were disgusting things in there. There is a surveillance camera in the classroom, but I dare not tell the teacher because it would make me seem very sensitive. I want to secretly retaliate against them, but I dare not do so, let alone I don't even know who did it.

Mate, how would it make you seem sensitive? Someone obviously did something bad. Whoever did it might also do it to someone else. By reporting, you are not just reporting a personal space invasion, but you are also reporting a crime against the whole school.

Report to your teacher.

I ended up enemy in my class for complaining too much about the mean ppl.... During my school days...

Strong person forgive.
Wise person ignores.

Even tho the behavior is disgusting and unacceptable, the person doing it is even filthier with filthier mind, maybe they will enjoy annoying others and want to have some fight/entertainment..

I honestly don't know how to deal with such behaviour eighter...

Maybe tell your teacher? If you want to find out who did it, you could ask them to check the camera recordings ;p

If you let it pass then that person may do the same to other persons, or may do even worse things.
Report it to your teacher and let your teacher handle it.

If it ever happens again, let out a scream or yell “what the hell. you can’t be blamed for reacting to a disgusting surprise, and, by doing that, you’re telling someone indirectly. just make sure someone hears you if the teacher’s outside, be loud enough for the teacher to hear. not your fault you screamed.

I am kind of old, but maybe it is best to ignore it. Someone is trying to jerk your chain, get a reaction out of you. if it's not garbage in your desk, it's something else. By showing no reactions, maybe they will get tired of teasing you.

To all the comments saying to ignore it, if it's outside, then it's up to your judgement to be saintly. On the school? I say it's not just a personal crime, but one against the school itself. If the teacher ignores you or nothing happens, then you can report to higher ups. If nothing still happens, then you can ignore/forgive/etc. but it is necessary to report. Of course the best thing would objectively be to tell your parents, but I understand that can be quite difficult for some.

This is how i deal with this type of things: once you find out tell the techer privatly and make her/him do desk check tomorrow and since you told her/him that the garbage was there they will look in the cameras and no one will now that you told on them.....
