It's a twist on the Kevin Bacon number - extended to chess personalities, in this case, Levon Aronian. In other words, how many degrees of separation between you and GM Aronian, who is originally Armenian?

For example: if you have met / played with him, then your "degrees of separation" number is zero. If you know somebody who has met / played with him, then one. And so on...

The population of India is 1.4 billion, I guess.
Armenia's OK. There's nothing much happening. The street lights and roads are still not fixed (from when I went last time), but no bombs.

I tend to agree. Could we perhaps venture as far as to perceive it as to be likely, however... I sincerely yearn to see your most personal thoughts on the matter, expressed in ascii. Or gouache. Perhaps clay, or fingerpaint. You decide.
