In Georgia, we finally wrapped a forty day heat wave. Which, 95ºF is not terrible, but then add in 65% humidity.
Also, on a positive note, this is the 1st time in recorded history that the Atlantic Ocean has not experienced a hurricane by September 21 of the hurricane season.

If it's raining for days, I'm probably having a great time :3

I'm good with the rain if it will clear out in a few days for sunshine.
First day here off of the heat wave. I stopped eating junk food and filled up on fruits and veggies. Then went for a 2 mile walk. Feels so much better.
Weather forecast saids two weeks of cooler weather ahead.

Well, if you're a bit old-school like myself and tend to check the 5-day forecast on the good old teletext of a regional TV channel...yeah, that stuff sure is quite wildly unpredictable!

Oh, I definitely feel you on that. Growing up, the local tv meteorologists in the States demonstrated the 5 day forecast on a physical map with adhesive stick ons that represented high pressure systems and low pressure systems.

I could post a video of it, but if you've painted your house before, its very familiar.

I remember that kind of thing, sticking magnetic clouds on a big map and saying "Now, here's the weather..." like we're all a bunch of primary school kids, lol.
And I love the phrases they use on the teletext, ah, that excuisite vagenuess that can make you imagine any kind of weather.
This might happen, and something else is not impossible. there is a chance of something and the perhaps possible slight risk of another thing...then you go out and it's just slightly cloudy, like always. Yeah, I do love all that :)

Meanwhile I'm hoping the rain forgets how to stop :p

When I was a kid, seniors at that time would share their own weather predictions just from what they observed in nature day to day. Sky colors at dusk and dawn, which side of leaves showed in the wind, snow or no snow based upon how high the clouds were, etc.

(And I'm not saying that you're a senior, dd. LOL).

When I went canoeing in New York, the weather was quite odd. I't could genuinely start raining hella hard, and then 7-10ish minutes later clear skies, and about 3-5 minutes later blazing heat. We had to keep re-applying sunscreen since it kept washing off, and on the last day we had a t-storm (although that might have been more predictable)
