mrpushwood has vanished

I nominate @Dukedog as an interim mrpushwood until mrpushwood returns.

They're big shoes to fill and you have to be mindful of what you're stepping into as well.

Wait I just looked at his profile and it says he was active 10 minutes ago.

@CSKA_Moscou Theres a successor waiting in the wings!

I'm not in Morphy's mental state to write 20,000 posts in 2 years.

I went through a harvest of Columbian coffee.

Hardly any user knows that @MrPushwood was one of the few permanent lichess.org employees who received a regular monthly salary from donations from "Patrons". (I recently had the opportunity to view this contract!)

He was hired by lichess a few years ago to comment on every new thread with at least a one-line post and thus keep the discussion forum, which was then in its infancy, running. By the end of 2023 he had written an impressive 21.802 posts!

Unfortunately, as time went on, the work became more and more boring and joyless for him, which is why, shortly before Christmas, he applied to the lichess team for a significant pay increase as well as vacation entitlements and other social benefits.

However, lichess saw no reason to even begin to respond to Pushi's demands, as the forum has been very well used and frequented here for some time, and therefore terminated this contract without notice. He was fired!

Pushi is now unemployed - but rumor has it that he has already offered his services to competitor Cheese.com.

I guess he's branching out. :).

Can you imagine if our Uncle Sam from the Lichess forums was kidnapped by the guerrillas and taken to the Republic of San José de la Palmas, where he's tortured to drink 45 liters of coffee per day under penalty of his posts being cleaned ? We need to save him !
