Hmm, no I'm pretty sure they invented a few things!

But China had the number 0 a long time ago, before India. They used counting rods to represent numbers and used empty spaces to indicate a digit was 0. Placing the counting rods lower represented the decimal part, and tilting the counting rods indicated a negative number.
