Rename Earth. Current name is outdated

Gaia (or Gaea) has been considered.

But when I go outside and feel the ground, I feel ... earth.

Rich and solid; dependable and worthy.

Actually, now that I think about it, perhaps "Planet Trump" isn't such a bad suggestion.

He, too, is "rich and solid; dependable and worthy."

Thanks, @tpr.

Search for a trailer called: Terra Nova

After looking at Synonyms of “astro” and antonyms, this seems a good pick: Geoterra

Trump on the death of Robert Mueller: “Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!”

"Earth-Moon"

  • There is a theory that the Moon was bumped out of the Earth by a collision. Then not Brother, but Mother Earth.

So I say we name it Single Mom With Child.

Sol-G2V-Goldilock-d

Sol the Sun (star name)
G2V the spectral type of the star (G2V = yellow main-sequence star)
Goldilock the planet is in the habitable zone (“just right” for liquid water)
d the 4th planet in the system (based on discovery order)

Favorite Exo planet: "Aurelia".

  1. Aurelia: Derived from the Latin aurum (gold), playing on the "Goldilocks" theme.
  2. Hestia: In Greek myth, she is the goddess of the hearth and home—fitting for a planet in the "just right" zone for life.

If an Alien looked at our earth it would be 80% water, so it would not call it earth.

Thats great! But all these words are still only known to us, we should translate the whole "name" in hydrogen binary, as they did in voyager.

Inhabitants of Proxima Centauri b have a view of their planet as the center of the universe. Their unofficial name for Earth is Maize c, they admire the maizeyness of Sol.
