In Star Trek, Walter did a good job with his role in the series. I still don't know what a nuclear wessel is! ? -:]
Thank you, Mr. Chekov!
Without your outstanding skills as a navigator, the USS Enterprise would have drifted aimlessly through space. Your precise course calculations always kept the starship on the right path through the galaxy.
Furthermore, your exact operation of the weapons systems - deploying phasers and photon torpedoes to fend off hostile attacks - was impressive and consistently effective.
I watched an interview several months ago. He reminisced and discussed a later ST project.
Pleasure to see his recent meetup with George Takei.
