Tax on Unrealized Capital Gains.

I am certainly not trying to "defeat" anything or anyone. I am merely attempting to discuss a topic that I found to be timely, of interest, and of possible concern.

I appreciate the sort of extensive independent thought and substantive feedback given by, for example, @InkyDarkBird or @kyanite111 or @pawnedge or @salmon_rushdie or @Alientcp . For example, kyanite111's reference to property tax was appreciated and thoughtful, even though I think it is somewhat distinguishable, at least in terms of potential burdens.

Such excellent posters take the time to think and write, and if even if we disagree, that's how the value of free expression is eventually realized. The so-called "Marketplace of Ideas."

Few people are always right or always wrong. By discussing things, we at least try to reach better understanding.

On the other hand, if somebody merely provides a "thumbs down" without explanation, I have to guess at their objection. So I appreciate even posts that disagree with me.

Photoshopped or not, anecdotal or not (he claims at least some of those pics were taken in his hometown), I’m pretty sure that violates Imgur’s TOS, if not Lichess’s. I’m also sure he claims to be against that sort of thing — yet he’s the one collecting and posting pictures of it. (Selah.)

Just two days after I hypothesized this crazy scenario, it has actually come to pass! Well, now that I have hard proof you dig Nazis, I’m waiting to hear your defense. ;-)
