The illegal invasion of Ukraine, though having cost the Russians in excess of a quarter of a million lives, is not comparable to the Hamas attack on Israel or Israel’s killing of Palestinians. Russia started the war, broke the ceasefire, and will have to pay the price for its aggression.

No one here is denying that Hamas is a terrorist group. That does not change the fact that what is happening in Gaza is wrong, contrary to what you are implying.
Oh, by the way, did you know that Israel fired many, many more missiles at Gaza than Hamas fired at Israel? And did you know that the Israelis even admitted to targetting certain schools and hospitals (under the guise of eliminating certain Palestinian officials they claimed were Hamas)?
Israel is still holding 9,187 Palestinians in prison.

The rationale for the Hamas raid was to capture hostages so as to trade these for Palestinian prisoners.
If the UK had retaliated to the King David Hotel bombing in 1946 with 91 deaths by killing 91 x 61 = 5551 Jews, then there might not have been a State of Israel.
