She performed the duties assigned to her for over 70 years , I respect that type of effort.
RIP, hope her soul will be in heaven.
She gave her whole life in service proudly. Grateful for her friendship to my country, U.S. Thoughts for her pre-deceased husband, too.

What did she do to warrant such consideration from everyone?
She was fortunate enough to live to the age of 96.
In a wealthy nation where economy inequality is rising.
Yet, she never lacked for food herself, and all her descendents are millionaires. Not because of their own accomplishment, but because they were born into a life of wealth. A social life of other people with either money or power seeking influence or contacts.
What have she accomplished? What legacy did she leave behind to make strangers morn for her?
I can't think of anything she ever did!
Why is monarchy still a thing?
Why should someone be born into a life of privilege, based on their ancestors merits?
My condolences to those who know her and loved her. I did neither of those things.
