What is the best song to ragebait?

"Do you think Trump was there to dance", asks @Noflaps. No, I realistically did not; that was my attempt at humour bearing in mind that you were a Trump supporter. Though to be honest, I did (and still do) think of his antics as "silly", and childish.

"Many of us prefer to be entertained rather than hectored", suggests Noflaps. Well, perhaps they do. I can't speak for the majority (unlike Noflaps), but I'd like to think that "many of us" would appreciate a short -- but direct -- speech on certain humanitarian subjects, promoting peace and unity, and be moved that their favourite singer cared about people, rather than just 'shutting up and singing'.

@IamNOTamod thoughtfully writes ----> "many of us" would appreciate a short -- but direct -- speech on certain humanitarian subjects,

Great -- and if you wish to hear a singer lecture you, you have that opportunity in the United States. And if the lecturer follows a certain fashion, you can probably do that at many other places, too! You do you!

I don't try to cancel, censor or surpress free expression.

I'll even admit that I'd love to hear Mick Jagger lecture about his life experience. But I'd prefer to hear him sing if he's going to lecture about something about which he has no real expertise.

I doubt that Jagger would try to do that, though. Jagger is a savvy, wise old guy with a sense of humor and perspective, I'm pretty sure.

Have you attended any singer-lectures about the evils of attacking Israel and torturing and murdering innocents? And how that must NOT be permitted to happen again?

Or do the singer-lectures always seem to skew Left, somehow?

I'm asking because I don't know. I don't attend singer-lectures. I prefer to make my own music and do my own research.

"Have you attended any singer-lectures about the evils of attacking Israel and torturing and murdering innocents", wonders @Noflaps.

Not really. Apparently, many musical artists are more concerned about raising awareness (and financial support) for the inhabitants of Gaza, the innocent families of many of which, were murdered (and sometimes tortured).

That said, I do wonder whether it is appropriate to describe such views as "skewing Left". It seems to me that politics and humanitarianism should never be mentioned in the same sentence. But maybe that's just me.
