Wow, I'm extremely lucky and unlucky at the same time

  1. I'm extremely unlucky because I failed last important class in cs, because of my professor being a asshole and put random ahh conditions, only in last exam and stole 7 points out 10, because of miscalculations in a induction proof (litterally only that flaw) and you're forced to solve by Chinese remainder theorem, not other method.
If I passed that class, I would continue normally.
  2. extremely lucky, because I got into uni with had lowest requirments ever, and barely passed.
So I can get into more elite uni, than before (year ago, I didn't pass there).
Pass rate, I heard it is around 40/135, maybe I will have a chanse or something

kinda irrelevant but where did Chinese Remainder Theorem come from in CS? do y'all have a lot of math there too? asking cuz idk
it doesn't feel intuitive at all to me, I find it kinda lengthy and also not very easy to piece together, and dayum you had INDUCTION PROOFS with only CRT allowed.. ouch
when I gotta do smth like that I never actually manage to do smth structured and just end up doing the most non-systematic intuitive modulo stuff..

The extremely lucky and extremely unlucky parts just cancelled each other out, so the answer is 0? ;p
