I don't even get the question. The difference between one thing can't be, it's always a difference between two things, because it's "between".

if there is no one nearby to help the unfortunate duck, how do you expect to hear it if you are far from the forest?

the duck would have to be big to be heard from afar.

That's excellent. Thank you. Sometimes becoming skillful at the wrong task explains an unfortunate outcome. But I'll go ahead and try to get better at chess anyway. However, now I can't later claim that I wasn't properly warned.

Florentijn Hofman's Ducks are certainly modest in size, but would look great in the middle of a forest, even if they don't make any noise. at least they make you smile
