Can't the Pirc also include a kingside attack similar to the KID?
This post reminds me of the moment when it 'clicked' that the Catalan is really just a Grunfeld with an extra tempo.
My understanding of both openings improved so fast with just that one insight (previously I had struggled to wrap my head around both openings)

English Opening: Reversed Sicilian is really just a Black Sicilian with an extra tempo too! Indeed, the opening is powerful
