Something you might regret(Although im a noob-you can see my online ratings. I am decent in OTB-1599 FIDE) Is playing the french. Now im not saying you'll mess up but ive lost all my FIDE rated classical That i played with french. IDK about your situation but i played the games aggainst ppl who are way higher rated then me now.(as far as i remember). so you might be in a diffrent climet with lower rated players. so it might be okay. But ill tell you to have something more solid for higher rated opps. Also another thing play more OTB if you bearly play any. I am telling you again i'm a NOOOOOOBB but still ithink i'm a prime exemple that playing OTB more(or I might just happen to be better at OTBsmh) Might come handy in life.

Thank you for the feedback, I understand why the French can be a little bit harder. I've done research and the French is a more "System Based" opening. More or less, the pieces go on certain squares, and you want a certain setup whereas the Sicilian is a highly theoretical opening with a ton of room for mistake. I'll try the French and learn the concepts of it, but if I find that it is not my style I'll find something else.
