Before internet,there was a thing called pen pals.People who never saw each other wrote letters to each other.They never saw each other but they were friends.Its kind of the same in internet.Friends we have here are also friends but on a different level.

This type of pseudo-interaction we have in forums is a far cry from what pen pals have. Pen pals write to each other 1 on 1, sometimes for years.
Internet and forums are a totally different story.
