How is criminality dealt with in China?
Do people follow the law, are they afraid of punishment and jail?
Or is there gatherings in slums, or organized criminal mafia that can't be gotten hold of but must be tolerated and gotten along with in gentleman's agreement and status quo?

China upholds the rule of law with strict crime crackdowns. Most people obey the law; there is no ungoverned slum or untouchable mafia.
