I was wondering if anyone's chess piece ever moved by itself, without you physically moving it or pre-moving it during bullet game tournaments? I have had it happen about 5 different times, causing me to time out. The first time it happened I thought it was a glitch, but it happened a couple of more times on different games on different days. The last time it happened I know for a fact I did not premove or physically move my piece, it was as if the opponent took control of my piece moved it, then took with his piece then I timed out. Is it a hack?

The few times my piece moved by itself without me physically moving it or pre-moving was during bullet tournaments against high rated players usually 2400 & up. Has the system been hacked? I would have won & flagged my opponent, but instead my piece moved to a spot I did not want, then my opponent took my piece and I timed out. Please note I play on my android phone touch screen. It was as if my opponent knew they were going to lose, took control of my chess piece, moved to a square that was advantageous to them to win when they were about to time out/ get flagged. I know I'm am not tripping, this really happened to me (about 5 different games now)...

I have once trolled my dad like that. He played on his pc, I took his phone and made one random move, and he got as confused as you. Maybe someone trolled you :D
Or- you left your engine open (probably not, but it could happen)
Cheers!

No, no one trolled me, I only play on my touch screen android phone. I do not play on any other computers. It really seems that someone may have hacked the system to take control of pieces when they want/ when it is advantageous to them. I have played thousand of games & it only happened about 5 times, so it doesn't seem to be a major issue with me at least, granted I am not the highest-rated player myself (I'm in the 50% rang). But I did find it interesting that it only happened when I was about to flag a higher rated player (2400 & up).

Oh, Now it's clear, your opponents had horsey -power. They simply type #horsey in the chat, and horsey take over your pieces

Are there any computer programmers on this site? Is it possible that someone created some type of hack mode that a handful of players have access to to take control of an opponent's chess piece? I know this may sound crazy or a conspiracy theory, but I'm telling you all, this really happened on more than one occasion. I'm not necessarily complaining, just wondering if it has happened to any other players on this site. Overall I love this chess site & will still play here regardless, but...
