Wu Lei was pretty good at Espanyol Barcelona, he was a very nice offensive midfielder of the championship. I've heard Auxerre is going to have some deal with Chinese football academy to sign players for next season.

Maybe the fact that China is far from being a football nation of the level of European, South America and African countries may be linked to cultural relations with England, and that now, football is probably (and it's fair) the most capitalist sport in the world, so it explains why the local championship seems more developed than the international team

But I think that things are going to evolve, Uzbekistan have now a really nice team despite the failure of FC Barcelona academy, and many players managed to plays in the Russian league to get experience and Khusanov played in Belarus before joining Lens. Kazakhstan managed to put a club in the Champion's League and most of Kairat players played only in the Local league, and they did it pretty well despite being in the last places. So why not about China

That is implausible. If China tried that, then it would face a showdown with either USA or India. China would be utterly annihilated in a war with USA, and it would cease to exist as a functional country in a war with India. Of course, mutually assured destruction is guaranteed. Anyway, such an act by China would be suicidal, leave alone successful.
Hitler himself did not try conquering the entire Soviet Union, even Britain, but he failed. Same would be the case with China.
