Let's assume we can buy this GM title, at how much would you guys set the price?

I feel like a GM born in the body of a CM.
No one deserves the GM title if they don't already have the GM title.
@Hitsugaya probably around 1$, because if it's bought it's totally useless, and if it's earned, then it's priceless (or value equals to whatever value holder gives it).
Fair point, okay let's assume only you can buy it and you also magically get the skill of a low rank GM by buying it. So no one will ever know the difference, how much do you put on the table?

I would say GothamChess and Eric Rosen deserve a GM title, aside from me of course (jk)
Based on what? They both have a peak FIDE rating of less than 2450, and I don't recall a string of strong performances in top tournaments from them.
Or do you only think they deserve a GM because you happen to know them from YouTube?
Who else deserves to be a GM?
We already have over 1,700 grandmasters, according to Wikipedia. Which, IMO, is about 1,500 too many for the title to carry the importance it should. We should have less GMs, not more.

Fun fact: you can stake a shared claim in Scottish estate as a sort of joint venture capital and, actually, be entitled as Lord / Lady.
