Each cycle has 3 stages.

CICL:
There will be a total of 10 rounds.
Only the results of the 1st and 2nd game counts.
We will start a new CICL every 3 months on the first Tuesday.
The top 8 qualify for the Candidates.
As a Tie-break we use who scored more 4 points, than 3 points etc.
The lower rated gets the preference if it’s still equal.
Candidates:
This is a single Round Robin Tournament with 7 rounds.
The winner is the challenger for the title match.
For tie break we use the SB system.
The result of the direct match decides in case the players are still equal.
Extra games will be played in case there is still no decision.
Match for the title:
Best of 10 games.
The first player who scores 5.5 points is the champion.
The reigning champion holds his title if the score is 5:5.
The challenger is white in the 1st game.

General rules:
Time control is 60+30 for all games in all stages.
Deadline for each game / Round in stage 2 and 3 is a week
If a qualified player doesn’t want to play, then he will be substituted by the next higher rank.
