NEW SEASON CICL 10
The low popularity of CICL 9 is indicating the need of something different.
So Chien and I have decided to switch to swiss after 9 arena seasons.
To give everybody anywhere on the planet a chance to participate we provide 2 tournaments.
CICL 10 Swiss 1 Tuesdays at 13 UTC:

CICL 10 Swiss 2 Tuesdays at 19 UTC:

The rounds are weekly always on Tuesday, time control is 60+30, total 9 rounds.
At the end we will unite both standings in a single final standings.
Only the total points and the SB tie-breaks count, not the ranks of each one.
The top 8 qualify for the Candidates Tournament of the 7th CCL World Championship.
Rank 9 is the first substitute in case one of the qualified players doesn’t want to play in the Candidates and so on.
You can participate in both swiss to improve your chances if you want.
In that case only your better result counts of course.
We leave the possibility open to cancel 1 of the tourneys before the start, in case there are not enough participants.

It always starts at fixed time 13:00 UTC (1st section) and 19:00 (2nd section)
