(I) Avada Kedavra
(II) There is no counter spell. You can just dodge it. But somehow @TSOUDEROS (Harry Potter) manages to counter it by casting HIS signature spell: Expelliarmus.

(I) Avada Kedavra, which is the Killing Curse, kills the person it touches(thus the name)unless the victim has made a way to live longer, a feat only done by using Horcruxes. It also destroys any object the curse touches.

(II) The spell used to block such an attack would be used to do apparation out of the spell's way.

What about Mobilicorpus to make someone else a shield, most preferred would be the caster of the curse.
