HWC 2023 Preparation and voting!

I guess there should be a 3+2 time control as it is probably going to be fairer than 2+2 or 3+1

2+2 or 3+1 are both more balanced and thus more fair, also 2+2 is tradition. i think time control should be one of these

If it were up to me I would choose 1/2 + 0 (hyperbullet). :)

But since it is a championship, I think it should be 2+2

I think with the 3+2 time factor is out of the picture a bit opposed to 2+2 , for me 3+2 makes sense since for a prestigious tournament like the world championship you focus on these 10 games on technique more and thus more quality games and less pressure , in theory if two players draw 5-5 you may need to step in another factor which is time , so that you are testing technique + time management .

For tie breakers it's a little weird to find something good enough , maybe have a lesser games match with 2+2 this time ? Maybe it's too long like that i don't know , but i really think draws should count , I mean the player with white did a really good job forcing this stalemate :)
