Since Lichess got rid of them, I think it would be nice if Lichess Tools added forum post numbers back (or had a setting to do so). I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do, since each forum post has a link which contains its number already. Maybe even add them back when quoting posts as well.

It was nice having the post numbers to be able to reference posts, but I guess if only other Lichess Tools users can see them, it might not be too useful.
But the link that is there does reference the specific reply. The index of the reply is a technical detail no one actually needs. It's trivial to do, but I don't see the point, that's all.
Fair enough. I did like the numbers better, but I guess I'll get used to it. I also don't really like that a redirect link is used instead of a direct link, since that forces the browser to reload the page even if the reply is on the same page. That's not something that Lichess Tools could easily fix though I assume, since you'd have to actually load the redirect link to find out where it goes.
