If all the same positions are lit up, it will be difficult to tell which positions are the same with the way they are currently lit, so if you change the colour of the light and number them, you will be able to tell at a glance.

Even if you can't change the color of the light, I would like it to be constantly lit.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but positions that are the same as the currently shown board position are highlighted, so all the highlighted moves have the same position, right?

I want it to always be lit, even when the position is not being displayed.

If the specifications I proposed were to be adopted, all of the lights would move in the same color.

I see, so you're saying that you want all repeated positions highlighted even when they're not the current position on the board, and if you have position A that's repeated and a different position B that's also repeated, all instances of position A should be highlighted in one color and all instances of position B should be highlighted in a different color. That's not a bad idea.
