LiChess Tools works again !!! • page 1/1 • L1Chess Tools Users Team • lichess.org

But to be fair, the only reason LiChess Tools can work is that Lichess exposes some public members that I can use. If they ever change that, the extension will die overnight. I hope they never do it.

Well, there was really no need for this post, but it was looking terrible to have the top post saying the extension is not working. Current version works and, after conferring with Lichess devs, it is also not using the components that are going to be removed from Lichess. But to be fair, the only reason LiChess Tools can work is that Lichess exposes some public members that I can use. If they ever change that, the extension will die overnight. I hope they never do it.

I hate asking for this, I am not a YouTuber ;-), but if more people use LiChess Tools, the guys with Lichess might be inclined to be more careful with what they change.

So it would help a lot if you would rate and comment on the extension page: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/lichess-tools-by-siderite/langlhlcknngldkeliapahbhbcmlcbcj

I hope I don't need to say it, but if you do leave a review, do it honestly. I don't need artificial praise. It's my intention that this will grow organically with the help of people who truly appreciate it.
