You probably know that Lichess is a French web site, but until now LiChess Tools was translated in French only with the Crowdin machine translation (which isn't very good). Behold! Version 2.3.193 has a much better translation in French thanks to Pascal Golay, who singlehandedly looked at all the strings used throughout LiChess Tools and updated them with good translations.
Thanks a lot, Pascal! His effort was not easy, there are almost 800 separate texts used by LiChess Tools alone, which also require understanding the context they are being used in - because I am lazy and have not filled in the context so people need to figure it out themselves.
Don't forget you also can help translate LiChess Tools in your language. I can't add more languages because of the free tier limitations of Crowdin, but the ones that are there really need your help. I chose them based on how many users the extension has for each language.
There is one more update for this version: I've created a mechanism to "upgrade" new settings. Before, when you had multiple possible settings for a preference and I would add another, it didn't matter if it would be enabled by default or not, because you already had a saved setting - think the missing lobby elements from 2.3.191... sorry about that. Now I can say that a new setting is upgradeable from a specific version and, if it's on by default, it will be added in your settings. I know, it's technical, you don't care, but it means I can now add new stuff to existing features without worrying I would alienate users.
Anyway, amusez-vous bien ! LiChess Tools will continue to help you learn, play and enjoy chess.
