• Extension Toggle *

OK, so I took your feedback to heart and added a button to disable LiChess Tools for the day right in the user menu top-right:

If you want to disable it permanently... well, you don't! :D The Enable LiChess Tools toggle in the Preferences page does that.

• Study topics *

Lichess has natively introduced topic sorting in the Topics textbox, but LiChess Tools still implements the Topics sorting in the left sidebar and now, in the individual study topics textbox. I know it's niche, but also consistent, so you can now order the topics inside a single study, too.

• Game list text filter *

An option to add a text filter to game lists is now available. It's disabled by default. The reason is that if you write a non findable string the page will load the games in the list again and again very fast, possibly overloading Lichess. But you can now use it to filter by opening name, for example, or find the match against a particular person. • Custom chat buttons *

It's an old feature that I always wanted to rewrite, but that will have to wait. You can now use the characters in any language, not just Latin letter and numbers, in your chat buttons. Emoticons don't work in the chat because Lichess filters them out.

• Ugly bug with duplicated material (and maybe even issues with premove) *

I think I solved it. It was caused by the Player Lag Indicators, but only for some people. Don't understand why, yet. In case this still persists, let me know. I really want to track down the cause of this bug.

• Performance issues

I think I solved some really hard to spot performance issues, but who knows what bugs I've introduced in the process? :-) For sure I've improved the loading of the custom board and piece sets - but you should choose them once again to make this work.

• Conclusion *

As usual, let me know if you face and issues, so I can solve them. Thanks a lot to the people that already provided really useful feedback and even helped me troubleshoot and identify the cause of problems as well as the translators of the extension!! Thank you all so much!

oh, you mean like for the captured pieces?

@TotalNoob69 can we PWEASE have a even ADVANCED search that can search for openings, game termination types (mate on f7,g7,h7, smothered mate, back-rank mate, etc), because i want to look at my old games, and also it can be useful in creating studies.

I would really want to implement this, but there is no suitable API to search for these. The best I can do is to look at the items on the page and hide the ones you don't want. And that overloads the server if you are looking for very rare items.

This kind of feature might be available once I implement that companion app, but it would still be tough, since I would have to sync the Lichess database with your own machine, which is not trivial with no access to the database

I was a bit confused when my computer started to read my analysis notes out loud for me :D
Is there any way to disable this, other than setting lichess tools sound volume to 0? (I imagine less machine resources would be used if I could disable it completely? I could not find a "No voice" option under Speech voice.)

First of all, that setting is off by default, so you set it somehow, @TobbeF . There are two options:

1. from the quick actions (mouse over the hamburger menu)

Hmm,there is something odd here. I did not have the speech icon in my hamburger menu and Read move comments was disabled. But I still got the text read out to me. After I enabled Read move comments, I did get the speech icon and could disable it, and as expected I got no sound. After having enabled and disabled Read move comments a few times again I got back to the first state: Read move comments disabled and no speech icon is visible, but I still get the text sound.
