Rising Stars Crazyhouse Arenas

We're launching the Rising Stars Crazyhouse Arenas! It's official, now every crazyhouse players has something to look forward to on Saturday Afternoon! (It's not just those elitist over at the elite zh arenas that get to have fun...)

Date: Saturday May 21st, 2022 at 6 PM UTC

Format: Max Weekly Rating = 2100

Since Lichess Titled Arenas aren't bi-weekly anymore, it doesn't make sense to have a lack of crazyhouse every other week-end. The Elite Crazyhouse Arenas will remain bi-weekly, but now every other week will host a Rising Stars Crazyhouse Arena.

Once again, as we're still trying to figure out what the best time is for these arenas, the start times will vary every iteration so make sure to check in advance when the fun begins!

We'll monitor how these arenas do, and if the attendance is regularly enough to get the arenas going, we'll keep it as a permanent event. Hopefully we can soon settle on a more regular time of start, but in the meantime, suggestions of formats/start-times are welcome in the comments below!
