Does playing RK destroy my standard game?

I am a fan of Racing Kings, and I'm wondering if it effects my standard chess game negatively. Any thoughts?

Racing Kings won't destroy your standard chess, but if you put too much time on a variant improvement, you might have as well put that time on improvement in standard. And if you don't put sufficient amount of time on standard chess, you might start to regress there.

It's possible that you will play in Racing Kings and some skills there will translate in your chess, but some will not.

Okay my expireince is that i learned to manage material mush better becuase of RK.I would say RK helps u with ur standard game.
For example,before starting rK i was 1021 in blitz and 1139 in classical,now after hitting 2000 in rk im 1341 in classical and 1448 in blitz

Yeah, I realized that after RK I am able to see the whole game much better, instead of just focusing on one spot on the board which I had been doing a lot.

yeah that proves that any variation(except from antichess) helps u with ur standard game
