2021 RK1440 Registration and Rules

We've had 6 more participants approved! Here they are:

Continue to spread the word as we have 20 now, and as announced previously, we have a guaranteed start for the RK1440 OC. We are already expecting a couple more players but it is definitely more fun and challenging with more players.

For those that who are signed up please make sure you are still available from early January until mid to end February. For those who want to register who haven't, please do register. You can do so in this forum or by PMing me. If you have any questions please message me as well.

We still have 20 participants but we are pending on 3 players who have had some technical issues along the way of signing up. Please continue to spread the word as we close in on the final week or so of registrations.

Hi all,

Just a quick update on the participant count: 24 players! Currently, we have 8 players sitting in a spot that would give them a first round bye.

Here are the four recent players that joined:

For the 24 players who are in, prepare for the tournament which starts in just a couple of days! I am glad to accept many more players but be sure to get the deadline in before January 3rd at 12 UTC! Tomorrow at some point, I will be releasing the current rankings of the players who are in so those who are in can get some kind of an idea who they'll be playing in the first round (but these rankings are tentative to change, but have been fairly stable recently).

On January 3rd, sometime between 12 UTC and the end of the day, the rankings will be finalized and the pairings and positions will be announced in another forum (to be created). Those who play in the first round will have one week to schedule and play their series, the rules are linked in the orginal forum post and I will link and further explain the rules in a future forum as well.

Please ask your friends and continue to spread the word if there is any other person you think would like to participate who isn't already signed up.
