I made a post on the offtopic board with a video from Prof Jordan Peterson rebuking the courts decision not to squash the requirement for his being forced to attend a “ re-education “ course.

Came back on and the post was removed?

Anyone know why?

@Mopman I didn't see the post of which you speak.

Typically, lichess mods allow political discourse, but do bear in mind that this site is decentralized and has a left-leaning userbase.

If a mod thought you were stirring up trouble, or someone thought you were posting propaganda and a mod agreed, this could have been the reason it was removed.

However, in team clousems, we only allow the works of a select few political thinkers and philosophers. These include: Adam Smith, John Locke, Sledge Hammer, Kendall from "Pieces", a little fellow with a pointy hat who bakes cookies outside of my apartment and calls himself Gnome Chomsky (he does not share the views of the similarly named, albeit less famous, Noam), and Grover Cleveland.

I noticed — for I had written a stirring defense of Dr. Peterson, and was about to post it, when the site kindly informed me that thread no longer existed. (No worries, I’ll save it for the next time this subject comes up.)

If I had to guess, it could simply be that your chosen title for the thread was too provocative. ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄
