Now I'm gonna search up the real rankings. As per Google,

"Who is the best men's soccer player of all time?
The answer has not changed , Lionel Messi is individually the best player in football history(Messi is the perfect mixture between greatness and raw talent 48 finals , winning a world record 44 titles losing only one in 90 mins ) ,
Pele the greatest, winning the biggest titles More FREQUENTLY THAN ANYONE.
Apr 22, 2012"
THAT is wat google says

However, an app called "perplexity" is BETTER than google, and according to "perplexity",

"The title of "best soccer player in the world" is subjective and often debated, but Lionel Messi is widely regarded as the greatest player in history based on his unparalleled achievements and recent accolades.

Lionel Messi's Case for the Best
Messi has consistently dominated rankings and awards, including winning the Ballon d'Or eight times, most recently in 2023. His career highlights include:

Winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina, where he played a pivotal role and scored twice in the final.

Being recognized as The Best FIFA Men's Player multiple times, including in 2023.

Holding records such as Barcelona's all-time top scorer (672 goals) and Argentina's all-time top scorer (109 goals).

Messi's peak years from 2009 to 2012 saw him redefine excellence in soccer, achieving feats like scoring the most goals in a calendar year (91 in 2012). His influence transcends rivalries, with even fans from opposing nations celebrating his greatness.

Other Contenders
While Messi stands out, other players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé are often mentioned in discussions about the best. Ronaldo is celebrated for his longevity and goal-scoring consistency, while Mbappé has emerged as a generational talent with incredible performances for club and country.

In 2025, Kylian Mbappé has been highlighted as the best active player following his move to Real Madrid, where he continues to impress alongside Vinícius Júnior.

Ultimately, Lionel Messi's legacy as a player who marked an era remains unmatched, making him the strongest candidate for the title of "best soccer player in the world."
