User-created tournaments

TheHouseDiscordedited

“Due to the high number of users, the tournament page wasn't navigable with all the user-created tournaments. User-created tournaments no longer show on the tournament page.” ~ Moderator (https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/impossible-to-create-tournaments#5)

All user-created tournaments are hidden on tournament page (https://lichess.org/tournament), unless the creator is titled. Let’s use this thread to advertise all user-created tournaments. I set up another thread, where people can subscribe to specific variant pings. To find that, check the other pinned threads in team forum.

The purpose of the thread is to be as flexible as possible. If you have created a tournament/team battle, feel free to share the link here! If it’s a team battle, it DOESN'T have to involve Team House. Some notes/guidelines:

  • When posting a link, you can ping everyone who has subscribed for that variant. Only 5 first pinged users are notified per post – you may want to ping others in separate post.
  • We can abandon the notifications if user-created arenas are put back to tournament page.

Notification thread (link may be different in the future; see pinned in that case): https://lichess.org/forum/team-the-house-discord-server/sign-up-to-pinged-about-user-created-tournaments
