If there is a secret sauce, we can be sure the discoverers of this secret will keep it to themselves... or sell it if they discover they can't become world champion even with the secret sauce. Of everyone selling a "secret sauce", who will be selling the genuine one? Who will be selling the endless variants of snake oil?
Actually, I already know the secret sauce. It's both easy and hard.
- Be born a nascent genius.
- Be born with excellent physical and mental health.
- Be given an excellent upbringing to build character, physical health and mental health.
- Be hot-house trained in chess from a young age, preferably well before 10 y.o.
- Turn out to love chess, dedicate you life to it and work extremely hard at it.
Do all this and meet the first human to reach 2950 ELO Classical. Then say, "Darn, it still wasn't enough!"

There actually is something interesting, in that the Russian chess school produced many great players... but would these players have been great anyway?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_chess_school
I've heard of some scholastic chess teams doing exercises, such as everyone playing from the same opening position and reviewing their games afterward. Sure, the placebo effect is real and some chess students improve from bad advice, but as an expert I believe there is a wealth of good, mediocre, and bad advice everywhere and players don't know which are which.

It's nothing too exciting... have less sugar, and more fruits, vegetables, fats, and fiber.

I'm still confused about fats.

I'm no nutritionist, but fats help the body absorb vitamins.

Fats are very important.

But just like any food, too much can be harmful.
"Healthy fats for brain health
There are four types of fat. They all play a role in brain health.
Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are known as good fats. They can help the brain function more efficiently. A good source of healthy fats can be found in fish, olive oil, avocados and nuts.
Trans and saturated fats are known as bad fats and contribute to cholesterol production. They’re often found in fried and processed foods and animal products." - Scripps.
Lean meats (red and white) plus fish are good for protein and a little bit of animal fat is okay too. Just not too much. That's the general diet advice these days for fats and meats. I am not a medical doctor (or any kind of doctor) and I am not a nutritionist.

@Toadofsky , @wodjul yeah I mean how much? some authorities recommend macros like 50/30/25 (carbs, protein, fats), whereas others favor fats over protein (eg 55/15/30)
