Let's just say poodles have a mind of their own

Admit it- we have all been surprised at how well a poodle has played against you..

Admit it- we have all been surprised at how well a poodle has played against you..
At some point, everyone has been embarrassed at how easily a poodle has thrashed them.
We all know that poodles are the best at the attacking side of things, and I bet the last time you played a poodle, you decided to go to the defensive side of things.. You're not the only one.
Well really, you can't be surprised at their superior pinning skills, or their capability to fork their opponent.

They are a completely different species. Literally.

Don't feel bad if you lose to them, it means you can get better. (But not close to their skill of course; the reason stated in the previous paragraph.)

From my understanding, I know that a lot of you blog readers read chess books also in order to boost their tactics. Well I'm going to tell you now guys- it's all a big myth. The only reason why people tell you to read chess books is to trick you into wasting your time, wasting brain power, crumbling under letters and numbers, page by page.
Look at poodles for example. They are some (all) of the best chess players in this world, and do they read chess books? No. Can they read? No. That's not the point though. The point is that they don't spend their precious time slaving away next to a lamp and chess board (plus said chess book), trying to figure out what they are not understanding, then after 2 hours, realising they were holding the book upside down, which as you can imagine, must be confusing because all the e6 squares would look like e9 squares (not to mention the e is upside down too (which would just add to the confusion)).

Anyway, as I was saying..
This is NOT going to help your chess whatsoever, and you would have your time better spent on eating cheese, or running round the woods like poodles do, which is clearly why they are so advanced on the intelligence side of things.
