What snacks to provide at a poodle chess tournament

Poodles generally aren't as fussy as humans- they'll eat what they get, but even poodles have preferences. So this blog is for the people that are thinking about hosting a chess tournament for poodles, and aren't exactly sure what they like to eat. I hope this is helpful.

  1. Cheese. Poodles love cheese- it gives them energy for the game, so, to make sure their games are at their best, you must make sure that on each table there are two bowls of cheese- one for each player.
  2. Chicken, Bacon, Beef, Turkey & broccoli. All these things are required on the refreshments table to keep all the poodles fully content. You must make sure there is at least one item of vegetable- for all the vegetarian poodles out there- hence the broccoli.
  3. Treats. For a little bit of fun, you can hide dog treats around the venue (under cushions, mats, in dark corners etc). Your poodle players will enjoy this as a light entertainment in between games.
  4. Omelette. If you are hosting quite a long tournament, and are thinking of serving lunch, an omelette is guaranteed to work out well. In the rarest cases, where a poodle doesn't like the omelette etc, they can always eat the food on the refreshments table.
  5. Apples, Bananas, & Pears. Finally, in order to keep all the poodles healthy, you should serve them a light fruit salad as pudding, and these fruits are the safest for poodles- but remember to remove the seeds from the apples & pears!

Extra info:
Dog bowls of water should be places around the room, and make sure they are always filled.

Warning:
You must always check with the owners before, just in case they are allergic, or not allowed a certain food product.
